Sinningia sellovii—Hardy Gloxinia or Hardy Sinningia Seeds
Gesneriads are one of my passions. I grow a lot of them and am an active member of our local Gesneriad Society chapter. I really love gesneriads. These seeds are from a plant I purchased from one of my jobs. If you are looking for plants of it, please look for Secret Garden Growers and you'll likely find some that are available through mail-order.
Planting out the hardy gesneriads has been an experiment for me. Not all of them are completely hardy in my climate, but they can be if you plant them somewhere with VERY SHARP drainage. Personally, I tend to grow most of my collection in containers and I bring them in during most of the winter since I don't want them to be damaged. I plan to plant a few this coming year though in a rock garden. After that, I'll update this information.
Getting back to THIS Sinningia, all I can add to this description is that it blooms and blooms and it grows into a large plant. Of all of my Sinningia plants, this one is also very easy to grow and keep happy. If you grow this as a houseplant, just be sure to give it A LOT of light. They grow well in south facing windows and under strong grow lights.
Germination instructions will be included with your seeds. (25 seeds)

Sinningia sellovii
