This is a stunning tall wildflower native to the Central and Eastern United States and Ontario in Canada. Plant it at the back of a flower border or amongst a few shrubs and ornamental grasses. It will sway in the breeze with them and the lovely petals will dance a bit for you. After all, it's a North American prairie plant so it's happiest frolicking amongst the grass where it will become drought tolerant after established.

In my experience this plant performs well in the garden and can be can excellent cut flower. In needs well-drained soil and sun. It has long stems and reblooms during the summer. Eventually it is likely to reseed but before then it's also a butterfly attractor during the height of summer. The seeds will also partially be eaten by birds so leave a few up when it gets cold outside.

Germination instructions will be included with your seeds. (about 200 seeds)
