Lathyrus sativus azureus—Blue Sweet Pea Seeds

$3.50
sold out
These species sweet peas were added to my garden many years ago and have flourished there ever since their introduction. Though not as dramatic (or fragrant) as the heirloom style sweet peas, their blue color is not to be ignored.

I grow mine on a trellis with other annual vines, but they can be planted beside short perennials too so that they can scramble around with the other blooms and plants. These would look nice too growing in a patch of ornamental grass just so long as the area is watered well during the peak bloom. So many options! (If you find another good idea, let me know.)

Germination instructions are included with your seeds. These are not difficult to grow if planted in a timely fashion and are considered hard-to-find so order them soon. These are bound to sell out for 2015. (about 10 seeds)
