Geranium robustum—Hardy Geranium or Cranesbill Seeds
This is a hard-to-find hardy geranium from South Africa that was offered to me by one of my garden blogger friends here in the city of Portland. He gardens north of Portland in Washington and is a true plant geek through and through.
These plants will grow in mounds and have finely leaves with grey-silver foliage. Even when not in bloom (which apparently they often are) the foliage can act as a lovely foil to other plants in your garden.
I'm happy to offer these for sale this year and am growing some of my own too. If you'd like to know more about Evan and his plant pursuits, I encourage you to check out his blog: 'The Practical Plant Geek'. (You can also copy the following link and post it in your browser: http://practicalplantgeek.blogspot.com)
Germination instructions are included with your seeds. These seeds will need to be stratified in order to germinate and grow. (25 seeds)
Basic Plant Facts:
Geranium robustum
Grows 17" x 24"
Likes dry sun
Hardy to USDA zone 8
