Fragaria vesca 'White'—White Alpine Strawberry Seeds

$4.00
sold out
The white version of the alpine strawberry is a bit more picky when it comes to germination, but if you don't mind the wait, they're worth it. These taste so good and although they won't fruit quite as much as the regular strain, due to their tropical fruit flavor, I'm vowing just to plant more so that I can have enough for seed collecting AND eating.

None of my plants fruited during their first year from seed but don't let this discourage you. Once they get going they'll keep on giving. Mine fruited until the end of November last season and were the jewels of my garden. I simply couldn't thank them enough.

Germination instructions are included with your seeds. These are fairly easy to grow. (about 80 seeds)

Basic Plant Facts:
Fragaria vesca
Grows 6" x 9-12"
Light shade
Zone 5a-9b
Perennial
