Euphorbia lathyris—Gopher Spurge or Mole Plant Seeds
An unusual plant for the gardener who wants to have something unique. This plant is most frequently added to gardens for the unique upright stem with its symmetrically organized leaves.
Originally native to Southern Europe the gopher spurge has spread, and to some people (and in some areas), it can be considered an invasive weed. I like it and it fits my Mediterranean-style garden and I can say from experience that it's easily controlled in my garden by deadheading it.
Oftentimes it's a much maligned plant. Yes, like all Euphorbia its sap is dangerous. So it follows that these plants should not be included in gardens with small children and pets that enjoy nibbling.
Germination instructions are included with your seeds.
