Fireweed is a West Coast native plant. It blooms bright pink annually and then swathes of meadows full of it turn a fire-engine red in the autumn. When plants go to seed, the seeds are parachuted out of their dry pods as they crack open and are then seen floating around in the still late summer air. It can appear as if masses of webbing are floating around through the sunlight.

All three phases of this plant are a wonder to behold. This is definitely the plant for the naturalists garden.

Germination instructions are included with your seeds. These are easy to germinate. (about 300 seeds)

All of my seeds are natural and organic. These were collected in a friend's garden.

Epilobium angustifolium
Grows 3-4' x 12"
