This is an odd little plant. It seems as though it would love the shade, but in reality, it likes some sun. Additionally, many folks consider it a perennial, but it seems to be a short-lived one—so much so that it seems more like a biennial or reseeding annual.

The little tiger will bloom and bloom for you in your garden. The flowers are small, but mighty. Definitely place it somewhere where you can look at the little jewels up close.

It is native to Canada and the northeastern United States. I have never seen one in the wild, but I have read about others doing so. They like rocky ledges and pockets and are often considered alpine plants.

Germination instructions are included with your seeds. These are easy to germinate and grow. Just be sure to deadhead whenever possible (about 30 seeds)

Basic Plant Facts:
Capnoides sempervirens, Corydalis sempervirens
Grows 18-24" x 15-18"
